Privacy & data governance
Data retention policy
Customer data is retained for as long as the account is in active status. Accounts can be organization accounts or personal accounts.

Data archiving and removal policy
Customer Data - Personal Accounts For personal accounts, when an account is specifically closed, application data will be immediately removed by the application. Otherwise, data will be retained until and unless the account is closed and/ or the user requests that the data be deleted. Personal account user deletion requests immediately cause the user data to enter an expired status. Customer Data - Organization Accounts For organization accounts, the customer organization will generally be considered the data controller for the purpose of application data, unless an alternative arrangement has been made. Therefore end user deletion and data requests will be redirected to the organization, but enabled by Cloverleaf upon request. When an organization requests that their data be deleted, the data for the organization and all user accounts within it will enter an expired status.

Cloverleaf stores everything with AES-256 encryption or higher in AWS. Data is backed up daily and data is stored anonymously and logically-separated.
