We store the information we receive as described in the our Privacy Policy (https://help.butter.us/privacy) for as long as you use our Services or as necessary to fulfill the purpose(s) for which it was collected, provide our Services, resolve disputes, establish legal defenses, conduct audits, pursue legitimate business purposes, enforce our agreements, and comply with applicable laws.
User data is permanently deleted 30 days after deleting an account or workspace.

User data is the users' data.
As by recommendation from the General Data Protection Board we have implemented some supplementary technical measures to make it a breeze for customers to exercise their right to access their personal data, correct it, or delete it entirely under account settings in Butter.
If users delete their account, we will make all content of the account inaccessible on deletion. All user data is permanently deleted from our servers 30 days after initial deletion and no longer be recoverable.
Data storage policy
It's important for us at Butter to be transparent about our business model and how we generate revenue. Our business model consists of software as a paid service where we charge for a premium version of Butter that has additional functionality on top of the free version. The purpose of the free version of Butter is to make it easy for anyone to try before they buy, and we do not rely on collecting user data or selling it to third parties in any manner.
We therefore only collect and process the information that we consider strictly necessary to deliver the delightful online meetings to you and to continue to maintain and develop the service.
