Data retention policy
By default, all data collected by Chatspell is kept indefinitely.
User data collected:
- Email - for sending notifications about account
- Full name - for billing purposes
Websites-related data collected:
- Website domain - for identification
- Visitor name - for identification
- Visitor email - when visitor is gone, agent can communicate directly by email
- Visitor device user-agent property - agent can see what device visitor is using
- Visitor IP Address - for localization feature - agent can see from what country visitor is coming from

Data archiving and removal policy
We archive user data that is no longer required for active use but may be needed for future reference or compliance purposes. We identify and move such data to a separate storage location from the production VPS server.
Users can request the deletion of their data at any time by contacting us through our support channels (support@chatspell.co).

Data storage policy
All user data collected by Chatspell is stored on a Virtual Private Server (VPS) located in a secure data center.
We perform daily backups of all user data on the VPS server to ensure the availability and recoverability of the data in the event of a system failure or data loss.
Access to user data on the VPS server is strictly controlled and limited to authorized personnel only. We follow the principle of least privilege, ensuring that only those who require access to the data can access it.
