Data retention policy
Upmarket functions primarily as a notification source to Slack, thus we use this integration to send data to Slack so that users can read slack messages.
We only retain information on what was send in the notification to Slack, and only as long as necessary to make available the Upmarket Platform to the client, or to improve our services in future via anonymized data.
If a business stops using, eg. unsubscribes from Upmarket, we remove their data from the system.
Data archiving and removal policy
For manual deletion, users can delete their account in the dashboard, which deletes it immediately.
Users can request to remove personal data as per the Privacy Policy, upmarket.ai/privacy-policy.
Data storage policy
All Customer data is encrypted in transit and at rest and stored in multiple locations at our hosting provider’s data centers to ensure availability and data redundancy. Data is regularly backed up and we have a tested backup, recovery and disaster procedure to ensure business continuity. Any system failure is alerted to our team immediately.
