Privacy & data governance
Data retention policy
Data retention is customizable per enterprise client. The defaults are as follows:
Account: Indefinite
Session: 90 days. Flexible upon request.
Usage data: 365 days live, and archive up to 3 years
Data archiving and removal policy
Relay will remove user data upon validated request. Usage will be automatically archived after 365 days and up to 3 years. Account data is kept indefinite (with the exception of admin user of the business accounts can deactivate and remove the account)
Data storage policy
All data are store securely on RDS provided by AWS, with audit logs. Only the full time employees of Relay whose functionalities require accessing the data will be able to access it.

Data deletion request procedure
When someone request to delete their data via contacting support@teamrelay.co. The account manager will validate identity, permission to delete the data, and reason to delete the data. Upon validation, the technical contact from Relay will perform the deletion.
