General
Privacy & data governance
Data retention policy
Semana retains customer data in accordance with the GDPR.
All customer data stored on the Semana Platform can be deleted on demand.
All workspace user data are permanently deleted 30 days after the end of the contract.
Data archiving and removal policy
Semana will remove customer data in accordance with the GDPR.
Data deleted by the users is safely deleted from all the databases except for the backups. Backups are automatically erased after 8 days. Monthly backups are stored for 30 days.
Data storage policy
Semana will store customer data in accordance with the GDPR.
All application data are stored on GCP managed services:
- Google Cloud SQL (Postgres 13): Replicated Postgres database managed by GCP
- Google Storage: Replicated and highly available file storage service
Those services provides an extra layer of security and operational services including:
- Encryption at rest and in transit
- Network protection (IP address restriction, etc.)
- Automated, periodic and encrypted backups
