We will retain all customer data for up to 5 years, unless requested for immediate deletion by a Lessonly Knowledge administrator. Deletion can take up to 1 week to be processed.
Data archiving and removal policy
All data is backed up daily with Azure, and backups are kept for 35 days. After that, the backups are automatically deleted from our cloud provider.

All data is encrypted at rest and transferred over SSL. Raw access is granted to engineers on a time-limited, as-needed basis through Azure Active Directory. Support engineers may have access in order to troubleshoot and assist users.

Administrators of Lessonly Knowledge can email email@example.com and request copies of data and/or deletion of data. European citizens can also make a request for their individual data under GDPR at https://gdpr-rep.eu/q/15823431. These requests can take up to 1 week to be processed.
While this app may offer HIPAA compliance, Slack does not have a business associate agreement with any third-party application providers, including those in the Slack App Directory, so you are responsible for validating the provider's compliance and executing an appropriate agreement before enabling.

Lessonly Knowledge connects with many third-party services. Depending on where you store your knowledge, you can potentially integrate with Google Drive, Confluence (Cloud & Server), Jira Service Desk (Cloud & Server), Zendesk, Dropbox, Box, GitHub, Trello, ReadMe, Evernote, Google Sites (Classic), and Zipline. Lessonly Knowledge also integrates with Slack (obviously). As mentioned above, we have MongoDB Atlas managed clusters. For payments, we use Stripe.
