Data retention policy
Atomic8 will store Customer Data based on the instructions provided by the Customer, which may include terms outlined in the Customer Agreement and the Customer’s use of Services functionality, as well as any obligations imposed by applicable law. Depending on the Services plan, Customers may have the option to personalize their retention settings and enforce those customized preferences. Additionally, it is possible to establish a custom data retention policy that specifies intervals for data erasure.
Data archiving and removal policy
If you have an account on this site or have left comments, you have the option to request an exported file containing the personal data we possess about you, including any information you have provided to us. Furthermore, you can ask us to delete any personal data we have stored about you. However, please note that this does not encompass any data that we are legally obligated to retain for administrative, legal, or security reasons.
Data storage policy
Atomic8 requires that its data and information be stored in a secure manner and be managed so that the company:
1. Meets legal standards for data storage, retrieval and protection
2. Protects the data privacy of employees, customers and others as required by law
3. Optimizes the use of primary data storage facilities to facilitate the timely and secure retrieval of data from storage when needed
4. Addresses security issues associated with data storage on company-owned facilities and third-party managed storage services, as well as employee-owned storage devices, to minimize the potential for unauthorized access to company data and information
5. Plans for and budgets for data storage technology, whether on site or remote
6. Regularly reviews and adjusts its data storage facilities – both on site and remote – to promptly accommodate changes in storage requirements
